STEP TWO
1. Download the Fresh KDS App onto your dedicated tablet.
2. Open the Fresh KDS app, and log in using your account credentials.
3. Give your KDS screen a descriptive name. E.g. Espresso, Salad Bar, or ToGo.
4. Select ‘Talech’ as your POS system.
Before you begin, ensure your Fresh KDS tablet and talech POS are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
1. Launch the talech Register App on your talech POS device.
2. From the dashboard, navigate to Back Office - Settings.
3. Tap to select ‘Printers’ on the left navigation menu.
4. Click ‘Auto Detect’ to search for your Fresh KDS. Once detected, it will automatically pop up as an available printer.
Do not set Fresh KDS as the Customer Receipt Printer. If talech auto-fills this field with your Fresh KDS IP address, tap and change it back to ‘No Receipt Printer.’
5. Tap to select your Fresh KDS device.
6. Enter a new Printer Name.
7. Under Printer Model, change the value from KDS to SP700.
8. Under Order Ticket Printing, select the Categories and Tags to send to your KDS.

9. *Optional* Tap to select Advanced Printer Settings to access additional customization options.

11. Tap ‘Test Print’ to verify the printer connection.
12. Tap ‘Save’ to complete the printer setup.
