Visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your tablet and search for "Fresh KDS." Download and install the app. Open the Fresh KDS app and log in using the email and password you created during registration. (Forgot your password? Click here to reset it)
If you have multiple restaurant locations you’ll be prompted to select a location for this screen. Otherwise proceed to giving this screen a name. Common names include barista, front line, expo, or grill. Select Lightspeed as your POS.
Open your tablet’s settings, choose your Wi-Fi network, and configure the IP address, subnet mask, and router address. Make note of the IP address for the next step. Click here for detailed instructions on iOS and Android.
Log in to the Lightspeed back office, and navigate to “Configuration” > “Printing” > “Printer”. Click "Add printer," provide a name, enter the tablet's IP address from the previous step, and select Epson TM-88 as the driver.
Navigate to "Printing" and "Printer Profiles." Click "Add Profile," name it, set copies to one, and choose the printer you just created. Save.
Go to "Printing Production Centers" and click "Add Production Center." Name the center and select the printer profile. Choose your desired order types or leave it at "all orders." Disable "Print Wider Lines" and set font size to small. Click save.
Access "Menu Management" and "Accounting Groups." Edit each group and select the production center created earlier. Repeat this for each accounting group you will be sending orders from.
Open the Lightspeed K point of sale app, log in, go to settings, and reload your new configuration.
Within settings, tap "Printing Center" in Lightspeed K. Select the newly created Printing Center and send a test print to your screen.
