How is Insights different from Analytics?

Kitchen Analytics lets you explore every report in detail. Insights does the digging for you and turns a completed day into recommendations with the evidence behind them. Use Insights to choose your next move, and Analytics to follow the results.

What data does Insights review?

One location's last full day of service: order timing against your targets, in-store and online orders, hour-by-hour activity, KDS station performance, and Kitchen Scores.

When can I generate recommendations?

Anytime after a location's business day closes. Each location gets one review per day, and it can include several recommendations. If the day hit its targets, Insights tells you that too.

Will Insights change my settings?

No. Insights only recommends. You and your team decide what to change, and nothing in your KDS settings changes on its own.

Can I review multiple locations?

Yes. See recommendations across all your locations, or filter by location and date. Each review covers one location's day.

Do I need to set Performance Targets first?

Insights works with the default targets, but setting your own makes every recommendation fit your kitchen. Target changes apply to future orders, so set them before the day you want reviewed.

Which plan includes Insights?

Insights is included with Premium. Each location you want reviewed needs to be on Premium.
