Bump Bar Support in Fresh KDS provides an alternative way to navigate orders without using the touchscreen, helping to maintain cleanliness and streamline kitchen workflows. A bump bar is a small, programmable device that connects to your KDS setup, allowing staff to control the display with simple button presses—ideal for reducing screen contact during busy shifts.

How It Works

  1. Setup – Connect your bump bar to Fresh KDS via USB or Bluetooth (depending on the model).
  2. Standard Navigation Controls – Use pre-programmed buttons to move left, right, up, down, and select orders.
  3. Operate Without Touching the Screen – Scroll through orders, bump completed tickets, or recall past orders using button presses instead of taps.
